The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR680a V4 leverages the NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL8 platform with 8x SXM GPUs interconnected via CX8 NVSwitch, delivering massive acceleration for LLM training, generative AI, and HPC workloads. Its 8U, 19" chassis provides high bandwidth GPU communication and efficient scaling for today's most compute-intensive applications.

High-Speed Memory & I/O Throughput

Designed to keep GPUs fully utilized, the SR680a V4 features dual Intel® Xeon® 6 processors (up to 350W each), 32x DDR5 DIMMs at up to 6400MHz for 4TB max capacity, and PCIe Gen5 expansion with OSFP links to CX8 switches. This architecture delivers exceptional data throughput for AI pipelines and HPC simulations.

Enterprise Reliability and Serviceability

The SR680a V4 combines N+N redundant 3200W PSUs, N+1 air-cooled hot-swap fans, and hot-swap M.2 boot drives to ensure maximum uptime in mission-critical environments. Lenovo XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3) provides secure, remote management, simplifying operations for large-scale AI and HPC deployments.
